MIYAVI announces his North and South American tour!

Rockstar MIYAVI has just announced that he will be going on his second North and South American tour this fall!

“WHAT’S MY NAME? WORLD TOUR 2011 -NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA CIRCUIT-” will be a continuation of MIYAVI’s “WHAT’S MY NAME? WORLD TOUR 2011“, which was held earlier this year in Japan and Europe. The North and South American tour will kick off in California on October 20th, and is scheduled to wrap up in Argentina on November 15th. More dates will be announced soon.

As reported earlier, MIYAVI will also make an appearance at the “Maquinaria Festival” in Chile during the tour.

Dir en Grey to tour North and South America!

Metal band Dir en Grey will be holding a North and South American tour titled, “TOUR2011 AGE QUOD AGIS“, at the end of the year!

The band will start their tour in Chile on November 23rd, and then make their way up to North America, with a total of 17 stops. They will perform alongside American metal band, 10 Years, in South America and Mexico; for the United States and Canada, they’ll be performing alongside synthetic rock band, The Birthday Massacre.

In Instyle July, Seungri showed us his shoe collection, as part of the magazine’s “100 Star Craft” special for its 100th issue.

Description of the (numbered) shoes:
1) Seungri accepted G-dragon’s offer and exchanged his 3.1 Philip Lim jacket for a pair of Lanvin sneakers.
2) Out of his collection of shoes, this was the hardest Lanvin shoe to find. He searched everywhere for it but to no avail… fans found it and gave it to him as a present.
3) He bought these YSL sneakers in Las Vegas… the salesperson was too pretty so he had no hesitation and bought it impulsively.
4) He wore these sneakers when BIGBANG won their first award.

BEAST, Photobook ‘FICTION. Written by BEAST’ available for pre-ordering

‘FICTION. Written by BEAST’, a photobook of unseen photos during BEAST’s first studio album promotions will be up for pre-orders for a week on Internet Kyobo Book store starting July 15th.

The special thing about this photobook is that it contains photos of many moments during the one month promotion time of their song ‘FICTION’ from their album ‘FICTION AND FACT’.

The photobook, with a total of 6 chapters and 260 pictures, includes pictures from when they were recording, practicing choreography, shooting their album cover, filming the M/V, first comeback, first win, showing the members passionately going through their hectic schedules.

ZE:A's Kevin Rushed to The Hospital

On July 21st, ZE:A’s Kevin was rushed to the hospital after fainting during the group’s choreography practice.

A representative of Star Empire revealed, “The members have been rehearsing for double title tracks this whole while. Kevin has been handling a busy schedule as well as staying up all night, which has been building up into fatigue. Because he felt pressured to present a perfect stage, he’d toss and turn at night and was unable to rest.”

They continued, “Until Kevin recovers, the group will be performing as eight members for future schedules.”

Kevin is currently resting at the boys’ dorm and will not be joining the group for the MTV Cyworld Music Festival or KBS’s ‘Love Request‘.

ORANGE RANGE’s NAOTO to release new solo album, “Spaces in Queue”

ORANGE RANGE NAOTO’s solo project, delofamilia, will be releasing a new album titled “Spaces in Queue” on October 5th!

This album will feature vocalist Rie fu, who has worked with delofamilia in the past. It’s said that the album includes beautiful, mystic melodies and borderless alternative sounds.

Are T.M. Revolution and Nanao Dating?

On July 22nd, gossip magazine Friday revealed pictures of singer T.M. Revolution – otherwise known as Nishikawa Takanori (40) – and college student/model Nanano (22) on a “te tsunagi (hand-holding) date”

The pictures show the pair walking down the street after eating dinner at a sushi restaurant in Tokyo’s Ebisu neighborhood. Ten minutes later, the couple entered Nishikawa’s luxurious mansion while still holding hands.

In the same magazine, insiders revealed that the pair began dating half a year earlier and are currently living together. A representative for Nishikawa responded to the images by saying “He is a good person, so we do not interfere with his private life,” while a representative for Nanao responded with “No comment.”
