Big Bang Holds A Press Conference In Japan — “We hope that Daesung will join us soon.”


On July 21, the members of Big Bang, except Daesung, held a press conference in Hotel Nikko Tokyo to celebrate the joint label YGEX between YG Entertainment and AVEX.
The conference attracted as many as 400 major Japanese presses including Yomiuri Online and NHK, as well as
celebrities belong to YG Entertainment including Seven, 2NE1 and Gummy. Of course, presidents of the two agencies attended to announce the founding the new label.
Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon said, “We’ve carried out various music-related activities in all the forms such as solo, unit and group, but this will open wider chances for us to advance intoJapan. There’s no definite plan yet, but whatever it is, we hope to meet you soon with qualified music.”
TOP added, “Thanks to the birth of YGEX, it’s amazing that we will have more channels to meet you.”
They also expressed their deep sorry for Daesung who failed to attend the event for her unlucky involvement in a car accident.
G-Dragon said, “Daesung really wanted to attend here with us. He’s not here, but I know his support and encouragement is with us now. He also has to know that we always support him. I really want for him to come out soon to make us five as we’ve been.”
The YGEX is planning to produce 2NE1’s first Japanese mini-album first, followed by the ones of several YG popular singers.
