On June 9th, rookie girl group Blady took off to the Maldives to film for their music video, “Crazy Day“, which will be under the direction of Hollywood director Kang Young Man.
Blady will be the first ever Korean idol group to film their music video in the Maldives, and the girls are planning to use every bit of the heavenly scenery to bring out their charms.
Director Kang Young Man worked on the movie “Avatar” and was one of the first in the world to use a 4D 5G grandeur theater ad in 2010. In 2005, he won the Best Director Award at the New York Movie Film Festival for his film, “The Last Eve.”
CEO Kim Tae Ahn of SY6 Entertainment revealed, “In order to raise Blady into Hallyu stars, we are starting them off internationally right from the production stages. Director Kang Young Man saw the potential Blady has as Hallyu stars and agreed to direct their music video. Blady is a group that was created from the get-go with the international audience in mind, so with their debut, we hope to unleash the plans we have for them to secure their growth as Hallyu stars.”
Blady will also be filming two new CFs in addition to their music video in the Maldives.
Kim continued, “Even before their debut, they’re already receiving the love calls of advertisements. For now, we have chosen a health drink named ‘TANN-SD‘ (from Indonesia) and a sports tool named ‘TURN.’ Both CFs will be filmed in the Maldives as well.”

F.T. ISLAND's SUB GROUP >>> F.T. TRIPLE

The three members Choi Jong Hun, Choi Min Hwan, and Lee Jae Jin formed a sub-group called F.T. Triple.

Some of the reasons behind this move were to showcase more of the members' skills and to prevent lead singer, Lee Hongki, from overstraining his voice again.

Another reason was to continue promoting F.T. Island while Lee Hongki was busy filming the South Korean drama "You're Beautiful" and while Song Seunghyun was busy with variety shows.

At first, this trio was unofficially announced at the Dream Concert in Japan as "A3".
They almost named themselves A3 because they all are blood A type.
They wanted to keep the F.T. name so they added Triple at the end of it to represent that it is a trio.

In F.T. triple, Lee Jaejin, originally in charge of bass for F.T. Island, becomes a guitarist and the lead vocalist; leader Choi Jonghun plays the piano and Choi Min Hwan continues to play the drums.

Their first single was titled "Love Letter" and was released with F.T. Island's 2CD Repackaged Album Double Date as a second CD named Two Date that features all F.T. Triple songs.

POLICE RECOMMEND INDICTMENT OF BIG BANG MEMBER DAESUNG

Police on Friday recommended that prosecutors indict idol group Big Bang member Daesung for his involvement in a car accident which has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.

Korea's National Forensic Service and police had been investigating into the accident which occurred on May 31 when Daesung failed to notice that the motorcyclist, identified only by his last name Hyun, was laying on the road from an accident, and hit him as well as a taxi driver checking on Hyun.

"We judged that Daesung was negligent in his responsibility to look ahead of him while driving so he ran over Hyun who was on the floor which inflicted multiple injuries on him and led to his death," police said of their decision to seek the charge of the 22-year-old idol star.

Police said that Hyun, driving under the heavy influence of alcohol, fell off his bike after colliding into a streetlight on which he hit his head and he suffered "extremely severe injuries from it" but it cannot be concluded that this was the single cause of his death since Daesung hit him about two minutes later.

Police added, "We can assume that the injuries Hyun suffered from his intial collision -- to his eye area, face, neck and back -- could have been life threatening but the injuries he suffered from being run over are so extensive that is difficult to distinguish the two."

"Therefore we judge that he died due to his collision into the streetlight and the multiple injuries he suffered from being run over," police stated.

The case will now be turned over to prosecutors.
