Rumor Control: Learn more about the TVXQ5′s member “rotation”

Please don’t fall for yet another rumor that some people are using to manipulate international fans: If you were told that either JJ, YC or CM was about to get “rotated” out of the group before or after TVXQ’s debut, if you were told that YH “cried and begged” SM so that JJ would be able to stay in the group, please read below to learn more about the “rotation”.

1) It was stated in January 2011’s court hearing by SM’s employee Kang, Jung Ah that SM was planning to take YH out of TVXQ before TVXQ’s debut. It was NOT JJ, YC or CM. Kang, Jung Ah also added that JS and JJ protested against this and hence YH debuted as a member of TVXQ.

2) There’s this one picture of 4 TVXQ members (everyone but JJ) and 1 SM trainee that has been floating around on the internet. This picture has caused fans to assume that it was JJ who was going to be rotated out of TVXQ.

However, this picture was taken out of “東方神起! Special Photo Essay TVfXQ! 3rd Storybook in Los Angeles” that SM published in 2004. Here’s the scanned pictures from that storybook (Click on the picture to Zoom):

Please take your time and check out ALL the pictures. You’ll see that there are various combinations of all five members and SM trainees. It was not just JJ who was missing from some pictures and replaced by SM trainees. So why was JJ singled out and targeted as the one who would be rotated out?

A fan saw TVXQ at the airport and posted a fan account that she saw JJ looking very down. That fan account was distorted and it spread over the internet that JJ was very depressed b/c he knew he was going to be kicked out of the team soon.

So it was just this 1 picture taken out of the whole photo book, combined with that one fan account, which generated the rumor that JJ was supposed to be kicked out of TVXQ. This rumor died down eventually. Recently it resurfaced thanks to a few people who started spreading it again.

3) CM and YC also became the targets of the same rumor; it was circulated at one point or another that either CM or YC was supposed to be kicked out of the team after TVXQ’s debut. However, these times, there was no story about how YH cried and begged SM to help YC or CM. The rumors disappeared eventually.

4) There is no evidence at all that YH cried and begged SM to let JJ, CM or YC stay in the group.

5) When SME attempted member rotation after TVXQ’s debut, YH’s father contacted a major fansite 2카동 (ikadong) and asked the administrators to upload a document on fans’ alliance’s webpage to stop the rotation. Here’s the link to ikadong’s announcement that mentions that event: galldcinside. There were a lot of fans who stated that YH is the one who was supposed to be rotated out. A lot of fans witnessed how YH’s fansite 그라티아 acted really quickly to stop the rotation. However, this all hearsay and there’s no direct evidence except fans’ statements that YH was supposed to be kicked off the group.

So what does this all mean? It means that:

1) YH almost did not debut as TVXQ but thanks to his team members, he did.

2) There’s NO evidence that JJ, CM or YC was going to be rotated.

3) The picture that some people are using as evidence that JJ was about to get rotated was taken out of context

4) There’s no evidence that YH was going to be rotated out, and there’s no evidence that his plea to SM saved his team member.

So why are some people reviving an old rumor at JJ’s expense to stress that YH helped a team member stay in the team? It appears that they are trying to emphasize that YH is a caring and responsible leader who saved his dear friend from losing his career and chance at stardom. But resorting to an old rumor to prop up Yunho’s reputation at the expense of JJ, how will that really help YH in the end?

Artikel ini memang sudah lama, diambil dari majalah TIME ASIA 29 juli 2002 . Meskipun begitu, artikel ini setidaknya bisa memperjelas dan sedikit mngetahui tentang kasus yang JYJ saat ini.
Judulnya : Show Me money?? Apakah artis korea dibayar sepadan?

Saat mereka sedang dipuncak popularitas, anggota boy band Korea HOT mulai mencurigai ketenaran emas mereka adalah sampah. Mereka telah menandatangani kontrak dengan rumah produksi SM Entertainment dimana mereka hanya menerima 1 dari royalti tiap penjualan 1 cd sedangkan grup lain menerima 17.

Aritmatika mengungkapkan kebenaran : setiap kali salah satu album mereka mencapai penjualan 1 juta-kopi, masing-masing anggota HOT hanya menerima pembayaran sebesar US $10.000. Coba Bandingkan dengan diva pop Mariah Carey awal tahun ini telah dibayarkan $ 28.000.000 dengan musik label EMI untuk merekam empat album.

Setelah musim semi terakhir, negosiasi ulang mereka pendiri SM Entertainment Lee So Man itu sia2. karena itulah tiga dari lima anggota HOT memisahkan diri dari perusahaan (lalu mereka bertiga membentuk JTL), dimana mereka secara tidak langsung membunuh band tersebut dan menghancurkan jutaan hati penggemar remaja.

Mantan member HOT Tony An mengatakan “Kami akan mengeluh bahwa kami tidak pernah memiliki cukup uang,” , Dan Lee Su Man berkata: ‘ Saya bahkan membayar untuk bensin Anda, apa yang Anda keluhkan‘”

Minggu depannya, Korea Fair Trade Commission diharapkan untuk merilis hasil penyelidikan tiga bulan ini ttg kemungkinan kolusi dgn rumah-rumah produksi terbesar di industri musik, yang diduga praktiknya membatasi persaingan dan menjaga harga CD yang terlalu tinggi. “Kami ingin kompetisi yang bebas dan adil,” kata Lee Dong Kyu, juru bicara dengan badan pengawas pemerintah. “Kami ingin konsumen untuk dapat menikmati musik berkualitas tinggi dengan harga rendah.“

Tapi bagian lain dari komisi memeriksa tuduhan bahwa penyanyi muda yang naif, bersedia membuat kesepakatan kontrak supaya cepat terkenal, hingga mereka terikat dgn “kontrak budak” yang memperkaya manajer mereka. Masalah pertama yg mendapat perhatian pada tahun 1999 ketika tindakan tiga-adik yang disebut Hans Band menggugat perusahaan produksi, Yedang Entertainment, yang mengklaim kontrak itu sangat tidak adil apalagi mrk hanya dibayar $15.000 yang merupakan sebagian kecil dari itu dianggap utang-setelah sukses dua album.

Beberapa laporan mengatakan bintang-bintang populer menerima pembayaran kesejahteraan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan slama trainee. Setelah cocok dan kesepakatan, Yedang setuju untuk memotong dua tahun dari kontrak band menjadi lima tahun.

Industri eksekutif melawan sistem, di mana penyanyi muda mendpatkan training dengan perusahaan produksi sebelum debut. Perusahaan membayar tagihan untuk pelatihan musik dan tari, untuk mobil, kostum, manajer dan biaya lainnya. Produsen memperkirakan biayanya sekitar $ 400.000 untuk meluncurkan idola baru. Sampai pengeluaran tenggelam ke dalam karir pemula telah diamortisasi, produsen enggan untuk memotong mereka bagian yang lebih besar dari kue.

Nama besar Korea dan bakat besar tidak seimbang dengan kesejahteraannya, tentu saja yang menjadi perangkap adalah dari gaya hidup bintang pop yg mewah. Tapi bagi tony ahn ada sebuah kata kebencian nya thdp mantan majikan, SM Entertainment yaitu sakit bahwa dia diperlakukan seperti komoditi daripada sebagai pribadi manusia. Jika Lee telah bersedia untuk mengatasi masalah kontrak mereka, “kami mungkin tidak akan meninggalkan,” Sebuah kata yg sedih. “Ini lebih tentang sentuhan manusia daripada uang.”

Q: what is the first thing you do when you wake up?

Taemin: look at the time on my phone and then take a shower.

Key: first i check my cellphone. and then drink a nice cup of tea, turn on my ipod and take a shower while listening to music.

Q: how would you like your egg cooked? pan fry, half-boiled, or fried?

Taemin: half-boiled.

Key: it must be pan fried

Q: which part of your body are you most confident? which part do you feel bad about? (to Key)

A: i like my eyes the most. although i don’t dislike my looks, but i think i feel bad in every part of it.

Q: which part of yourself do you look at in the mirror? (to Taemin)

A: eyeballs! stare into the mirror and hypnotize myself.

Taemin: vaulting horse, i am confident that i can hang onto it for a long time in the air.

Key: americano, i need to drink it everyday.

Taemin: americano if i have to pick. i don’t exactly like drinking it.

Q: laundry, cooking, dishes, cleaning, which do you hate doing the most?
Taemin: laundry.

Key: coffee.

Key: i will prepare the night before, so i do not spend too much time in the morning. as to what to wear, i choose according to the place i am going, and the things i am doing in that day.

Taemin: i wear what i see. so usually i only take 5 minutes.

Taemin: i like jackets, outerwear, and pants.

Key: accessories, bags, teeshirts.

Q: which stage outfit do you like the most?
Key: the concept changes each time, it’s tough to decide on one.

Taemin: i like my outfit in “Lucifer” MV, the ripped vest and black skinny pants.

Key: backpacks, and also cross bag.

Taemin: backpack for school, cross bag when i go out.

Key: match it with a nice outfit.

Taemin: a bag that contains sufficient amount of things. not too full and not too empty.

Key: english is my favorite. i hate math.

Courts Dismiss All SM Injunctions & “Legally Guarantee JYJ’s Independent Activities”

The Seoul District Courts has dismissed all formal objections against JYJ’s injunction as well as the exclusive contract suspension injunction filed by SM Entertainment against JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun.

On the 17th, the Courts made it known that they have dismissed all claims filed by SM Entertainment, which is the agency’s formal objection against JYJ’s injunction as well as its exclusive contract suspension injunction.

This means that the Courts have emphasized their decision that the contract signed between the members of JYJ and SM is invalid and that the members’ independent activities are guaranteed. They have also publicized that SM Entertainment cannot interfere with JYJ’s activities in the entertainment activities on the claim that their contract with the agency is still valid.

Pengadilan Distrik Seoul telah menghentikan semua keberatan formal melawan keputusan JYJ juga penangguhan kontrak eksklusif yang dilayangkan oleh SME melawan JYJ, Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu dan Park Yoochun.
