Fans believe B2ST’s Junhyung Previously Hinted at Relationship With KARA’s Hara

Since the reveal of the newest celebrity relationship to rock the K-pop world, fans have been busy dealing with both heartbreak and excitement for B2ST’s Yong Junhyung and KARA’s Goo Hara.
Netizens though are now speculating that Junhyung had revealed their relationship in previous interviews, as well as through his Twitter.
In particular, netizens have been focusing on B2ST’s May 28th appearance on KBS’s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘ for a guerilla date. When the group was asked, “Which member do you think will be the first to reveal a relationship to the public?”, the members unanimously chose Junhyung. Though nobody thought much of it at the time, netizens are now saying that they must have been hinting at his relationship with Hara.
In response, Junhyung had replied, “If I get a girlfriend later on, I would love to let the public know about it.” The reporter joked, “Why don’t you tell us about it today?”, to which Junhyung laughed and said, “Not today“, a clever statement that netizens now believe was a foreshadowing confession.

In addition to the video from ‘Entertainment Weekly,’ fans are also taking note of Junhyung’s previous tweets.
On April 29th, Junhyung had posted, “I found strength through just one phone call” and “Even though people say that pretty girls usually don’t look as great from the back, you’re beautiful from every angle.”
F.T. Island’s Hongki, known to be good friends with Junhyung, commented on these tweets in a joking manner, and claimed himself to be the subject of Junhyung’s affectionate posts.
Also being noted is a recent radio interview during which Junhyung described his ideal woman with lyrics he had written for B2ST’s song, “I Like You the Best” – “a thin girl, kind of short with a small face and soft hair“, all characteristics that Goo Hara is widely known to possess.
Though these hints seem quite obvious in hindsight, fans didn’t have much else to work with until the official confirmation was recently made.
It seems we may have to be on a closer lookout for more of these sneaky idol relationship hints in the future!

SNSD’s Seohyun Interviewed by Sports Seoul For Her Birthday!

In celebration of her very special day, SNSD’s youngest, Seohyun, was interviewed by Sports Seoul, a major Korean daily.
Seohyun has a special relationship with the newspaper: in a fortuitous coincidence, June 28th is also the birthday of Sports Seoul, currently in its 7th year of publication.
Firstly, happy birthday.
Thank you. Happy birthday to Sports Seoul too.
Did you know of your special relationship with Sports Seoul?
No, I was surprised when I heard it. I knew there must be a reason why you always wrote good articles about me (laughs).
How did you feel?
It must be destiny. I’ll definitely keep reading. Is that being too serious (laughs)?
We kept all of the articles about SNSD from your debut, and we would like to give it to you as a birthday present.
Wow! This is the first time looking at them on paper. (After admiring the articles) It’s so different, seeing them on paper as opposed to the Internet. Are you really giving these to me? It’s an unforgettable birthday present. I’ll show them to my unnies.
It seems like just yesterday that you first sat down with us after your debut.
Right. I didn’t know anything then. I didn’t know what to say, nor what kinds of things are usually published in articles.
(Pointing at the article) How does it feel, seeing your debut picture? Anything you’d like to hide or change?
No, not at all. I like how the bangs make me look fresh. It’s heartwarming, looking at the previous me.

At the time, you had said you’d like to perform in a Japanese drama.
I still dream about that. I was into “Nodame Cantabile” at the time, and now I’m watching “Hotaru’s Light“. I hope the day can come when I can finally act in a Japanese drama.
SNSD hadn’t been thinking about Japanese promotions then. It’s almost as like you’ve prophesied it.
(Laughs) I suppose. Dreams became reality. If there is a goal and I start striving towards it, I think I’m able to gain the support of more people around me. The name ‘SNSD’ in itself contains dreams, and that dream of making the world a ‘girl’s generation’ will never change. Please stay with us until ‘girl’s generation’ becomes ‘grandmother’s generation’.
Is there a specific moment that’s engraved in your memory?
After our first performance together, everyone got together and cried for a long time. I felt that we finally got to show ourselves on stage after such a long, arduous time training. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. Looking at the past interviews, I feel that we shouldn’t lose our focus, our strength of mind. People change little by little without being aware of it, and I’m scared of that. I’ll always work hard to make sure I stay who I am.
You recently performed in Paris. Can you feel the impact of the Hallyu Wave?
Yes, of course. I think it’s because those who came before us worked so hard, that’s why Hallyu has the strength it has today. I don’t think we suddenly started it, just like that. I think it’s a blessing for us to promote in this era. There’s a sense of responsibility, as well. We will also pave the road for the performers who will follow in our footsteps.
Personally, what memory do you recall the most?
I did a duet with Joo Hyun Mi. My parents like her very much, and I was beyond nervous at the thought that I would get to sing with her. She held my hand during the performance, so that’s why I was able to barely finish it. Thinking back, I’m extremely thankful.
Were there any hardships to debuting so early in your life?
It’s hard when people focus on everything that you do. I started being careful of everything I was saying and doing. I’m used to it now and I’ve learned to be thankful for all the attention I’m getting.
Sports Hankook has met its 7th birthday. If there’s anything you’d like to say…
I’m always glad whenever I meet reporters from Sports Hankook. They’re very hardworking and trustworthy. Please write good articles about me in the future, and about SNSD as well. Thank you, and please watch over us well.

KARA’s Hara & B2ST’s Junhyung Confirmed to be in a Relationship!

KARA’s Hara and B2ST’s Junhyung have been revealed to be dating!

On June 28th, Cube Entertainment announced, “They had a senior/ junior relationship until they began dating. They’ve been dating for about a month now. When Hara was going through some difficult times, Junhyung consoled her. Because of their busy schedules, they’ve only been able to go out to eat and other dating activities three times so far.”
DSP Media also announced, “They do have good feelings towards one another, but they’re still getting to know each other. It’s only been a month so far. Please watch over them for a bit more.”
An associate of the two revealed, “The KARA and B2ST members are all close to one another because they’ve been promoting around the same time. They depend on and look to each other for consolation. Ahead of their Japanese comeback, their relationship has gotten a lot deeper through support meetings.”

The two were caught confidently dating on the early morning of June 9th, the day Junhyung returned from B2ST’s Japanese concert. After drinking coffee at a take out cafe in Kangnam, the two drove around the area before parking near Junhyung’s home. For an hour, the two walked around the neighborhood and around the park before settling at the ‘Sky Park’ in Sangam-dong.
Seeing the two hold hands side by side was definitely a heartwarming sight for reporters on the scene. The two apparently used every spare moment in their schedules, as they met up again on the early morning of June 13th to walk around the back alleys of Hongdae.

What’s amazing is that they didn’t hide who they were at all. In the car, Hara would roll down the windows and stick her head out to observe the night view.
An associate of Hara’s explained, “Innocence is Hara’s charm. She may have begun promoting early, but she’s not affected by that at all and still manages to preserve her innocence. Yong Junhyung probably fell in love with her pure charm.”

Key wrote, “We’re in Japan~ We will work hard and return soon. Sending our greetings with Taemin.”
The boys have been doing remarkably well in Japan, so fans should be happy to see their handsome faces side by side. Like the fashionista he’s known to be, Key’s pictured with a colorful top and over-exaggerated facial expressions, all of which contrast against Taemin’s calmer poses.
Fans commented, “We miss you!”, “Make a daebak in Japan”, and “Fighting!”
